All Roads Lead to Croydon

Some events are more than a date in the diary. They are about the people, stories and voices we choose to celebrate.

Proud Recruitment is organising and supporting All Roads Lead to Croydon, a special evening centred on resilience, creative triumph and remembrance.

About the evening

The event will feature Andy Baker, a mouth painting artist whose work reflects strength, creativity and hope. Forty years ago, Andy's life changed in a motorcycle accident. Today, his story and his art continue to be seen, celebrated and heard.

The evening will also honour the memory of Hugo Jamieson, the younger brother of Lou Jamieson. Lou will be DJing as up and coming DJ KidBad, bringing music into an evening of art, remembrance and community.

Event supporters

Proud Recruitment is grateful to everyone supporting this event voluntarily.

Madame F, a queer owned wine brand supporting Queer Britain, the UK's national LGBTQ+ museum, is generously providing the wine for the evening.

The Blossoms in Croydon is hosting the event and opening its doors for the gathering.

Verrisimusgirl is supporting the event as creative director, bringing imagination and creative spirit to the evening.

CSEP Media Lab, where the hugely talented Dez Mighty recorded George's podcast, has also supported the event.

Inclusion in action

This event reflects what Proud Recruitment stands for: giving diverse talent a voice, supporting authenticity and helping create spaces where people feel seen, valued and able to belong.

The Civic Mayor of Croydon has confirmed their attendance, a meaningful recognition of the evening and all it represents.
